Trustridge Holdings Pte. Ltd. is pleased to announce the official Japanese launch of Okuchi AWA Foaming Mouthwash, available in two variants — Lemon and Peach Floral. The launch marks the Okuchi range’s first move into a foam format, and its first formulation built around hydroxyapatite, the mineral that forms human tooth enamel.
Both variants are now on shelf in Japan and are available immediately for international distribution through Trustridge Holdings, exclusive export distributor for the Okuchi series.
A mouthwash you can use anywhere — no sink required
Okuchi AWA comes in a compact 50ml pump bottle delivering roughly 50 uses at two pushes per use. Rather than a liquid rinse, the formula dispenses as a dense foam directly into the mouth, so it can be used discreetly wherever the user happens to be — at a desk, in a meeting room, in transit, or before a client meeting.
Usage takes under a minute: dispense one to two pushes directly into the mouth, spread the foam for 20–30 seconds, then spit out or simply wipe away with a tissue. No water rinse is required afterwards — the feature that makes the format genuinely portable, and the reason it performs well in the on-the-go oral care segment.

Hydroxyapatite: the ingredient at the centre of the formula
The defining feature of Okuchi AWA is hydroxyapatite (HAp) — the calcium phosphate mineral that makes up approximately 97% of human tooth enamel. Rather than simply cleaning the mouth and masking odour, a hydroxyapatite formulation returns to the tooth surface the same mineral it is made of, with every use.
This places Okuchi AWA in the premium dental care segment rather than the basic freshener category. Hydroxyapatite is valued in oral care for four distinct effects:
- Enamel remineralisation — hydroxyapatite replenishes the primary mineral of tooth enamel, penetrating micro-pores and surface scratches to rebuild and reinforce the enamel layer.
- Natural whitening — by filling surface irregularities, it creates a smoother, more reflective enamel surface that is naturally more resistant to staining.
- Anti-sensitivity protection — mineral deposits fill exposed dentinal tubules, reducing the pathways through which thermal and chemical stimuli reach the nerve.
- Plaque and bacteria resistance — a smoother, denser enamel surface makes it harder for bacteria and plaque to adhere, supporting long-term oral health.
Commercially, hydroxyapatite is also non-fluoride and free of import restrictions — it is not a controlled or restricted substance, and is accepted for cosmetic and OTC oral care products across Japan, Korea, Singapore, the EU, the ASEAN region and the United States. For distributors, that means a premium technical story without a regulatory obstacle.
A complete active profile, in a low-irritation foam
Hydroxyapatite is supported by a full active system: xylitol to inhibit cavity-causing bacteria, propolis extract as a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, chitosan to reduce bacterial adherence, tea leaf extract for antioxidant gum support, allantoin to soothe gum tissue, and a menthol and peppermint oil blend for lasting fresh breath.
The entire formula is non-alcohol and low-irritation — gentle enough for daily use, including by users with sensitive gums, children, and consumers who actively avoid alcohol-based mouthwash. The foam itself is engineered to reach where a liquid rinse does not, penetrating interdental gaps and the gum line under the pressure of the bursting bubbles.

Made in Korea: K-Beauty manufacturing behind every bottle
Every bottle of Okuchi AWA Foaming Mouthwash is manufactured in the Republic of Korea — the same industrial base that produces the world’s leading K-Beauty and K-Hygiene brands, and the origin point for much of the innovation that now defines modern personal care globally.
Korea’s personal care manufacturing sector is internationally recognised for precision engineering, stringent quality control, and rapid formulation capability. Okuchi is produced at one of Asia’s largest and most advanced oral care production facilities, operating high-speed automated lines under strict hygiene and quality management protocols, in full compliance with the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) cosmetic safety regulations.
That scale is a commercial asset as much as a technical one. It underwrites consistent batch-to-batch quality, the capacity to support large-volume national rollouts without supply interruption, and the flexibility to meet market-specific regulatory and labelling requirements. For distributors and retail partners, it means a product that arrives reliably, at consistent quality, at the volumes a national market demands.
Japanese oral care design, Korean manufacturing excellence — Okuchi AWA carries both, and the K-Beauty provenance is a marketing asset in every market we enter.
Two scents, one line
Lemon delivers a crisp citrus refresh, while Peach Floral finishes softer and more fragrant. Formulation and performance are identical across both variants — the choice is purely one of scent preference, which broadens the line’s appeal across age groups and genders and supports dual-facing merchandising at shelf.
